  1. Realistically, why should we care where our clothes/products come from?
  2. The answer; we shouldn't.

  4. Although we may think we feel sorry for 'less fortunate' countries.. We don't know the facts.
  5. If we were to truly know what would happen if we stopped mass-importing products from China, we would know why it is unfeasable to do it.
  6. If Australia made all of its products itself, the costs of things would be sky-high. You would be paying $100 for one tee-shirt.

  8. Not only is the problem(s) of people in China, or any other coutries not my problem, but it also isn't my responibility to fix it.
  9. Why should it be? There is no logical reason as to why it should be. It doesn't affect me?

  12. An argument used by a lot of narrow-minded people is that it's basicially slavery.
  13. But the problem is, is that throughout the ages, people and animals have used living things as slaves. Whether it be useless niggers[sic] in England, or monkeys using lower-class monkeys. We also use slavery by using electricity. When you actually know the facts, it's quite clear that we still use slavery to this day, but we don't call it that. We call it 'working'. Which in reality, is no different than outsourcing our work to China.
