- About David Farragher : Dr. Faragher specializes in medical oncology and hematology. A graduate of Augustana College in South Dakota, Dr. Faragher earned his medical doctorate at the University of South Dakota Medical School. He completed a residency in internal medicine at the Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in Aurora and later completed a hematology/oncology fellowship at Walter-Reed Medical Center in Washington, D.C.Prior to joining RMCC, Dr. Faragher worked as an oncologist/hematologist at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center. He served in the U.S. military in both Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm. He is the previous medical director of the Hospice of Metro Denver. Dr. Faragher chairs RMCC’s and is a member of several professional organizations. Board certified in internal medicine, hematology and medical oncology, Dr. Faragher practices at RMCC’s Aurora location.

- About Melissa Rober //: Christmas Day when Melissa Rober’s family noticed something wasn’t right. Their fun-loving, adventurous sister seemed disoriented and wasn’t acting like herself.
- Melissa traveled the world in her role as a vice president at a Boston investment management firm. “She loved meeting people. She went to two weddings in Italy, skydiving, skiing, tennis, all after her diagnosis,” added Brenda.
- The other patients, families, and friends supported each other during their time at the home. “You’re not the only one going through it. They are in the same boat, feeling what you are feeling. … It was a great support,” said Brenda.
- Melissa’s dog Max was one of the frequent visitors, who got everyone at the house laughing and smiling. “Melissa loved that dog. … His visits made her so happy,” said Brenda.
